Our Sales and Distribution Organisation

< u>< strong>What impact will you create?

< strong>The Category Trade Marketing Manager acts as a key conduit between marketing, sales and customer team and works as strategy and insights arm of the channel.

The Key Responsibilities For This Role Would Include

< u>< strong>Category development
< strong>
  • Responsible for revenue, growth, demand planning and business development for set of categories< li>
  • Work closely with marketing team on understanding categories, brand levers, consumer & shopper insights, channel plans and brief on shopper & retail expectations opportunities< li>
  • Develop a joint brand-channel activity calendar for building the categories
    < li> < ul> New product launches, brand led activations and visibility planning
    < strong>
    • Design and execute Go To Market (GTM) strategy for new launches re-launches key brands< li>
    • Develop and execute brand activations in close coordination with KAMs, Ops and Customer team< li>
    • Developing visibility elements for the channel by understanding brand levers, customer needs and terms of trade; and lead execution of the same
      < li> < ul> Channel development projects and data insighting
      < strong>
      • Assess potential for special packs and work on the development of the same with the cross-functional team< li>
      • Work on shopper insights led category management< li>
      • Work on projects to lead innovation in channel : product mix (combos), promotions, visibility, systems & processes and channel activations< li>
      • Research and data analysis on offtake data, shopper retail data, Nielsen etc. Lead insighting into action
        < li> < ul> Promotion and Spends Management
        < strong>
        • Design shopper promotion along with KAM and Ops team< li>
        • Responsible for spends management for the set of categories. Stringent check & tracking of the same.< li>
        • ROI check and pre-post evaluation of spends, promotions, visibility and activations. And recommend improvement to aid higher returns and shopper-category impact
          < li> < ul> Travel

          < strong>To understand on ground working and sense the category performance, you will need to travel across the country basis requirement. You will be based out of Mumbai.

          • External: Category Heads Managers of Retail Chains, BTL and activations agencies, Commercial Mangers
            < li> < ul> Who are we looking for?

            < strong>Key Skills
            < u>< strong>
            • Excellent analytical skills with strong understanding of FMCG MT business< li>
            • Interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation and communications skills to manage effective stakeholder relationships across teams; < li>
            • High on energy and driven. Strong attitude in coming up with new initiatives that would help in better business delivery < li>
            • Proven track record of strong execution, systematic planning, commercial acumen and critical thinking
              < li> < ul> Education - < strong>Post Graduate degree (MBA) from a premier B-School in Sales & Marketing

              Experience
              < u>< strong>
              • Total experience in the range of 4 - 5 years with 2-3 years in Sales Management Role at Area Zone Level preferably. < li>
              • Prior experience in trade marketing key account management will be preferred
