EY-GDS – Consulting – Senior – Automation-Test-Lead As part of our EY-GDS – Consulting Automation Testing Lead, you will be accountable & responsible to perform Automation expediency, suggest Automation approaches, build Automation framework, Automate functional test cases, maintain and execute Regression tests ensuring all automation needs are properly met and aligned to the customer expectation. The opportunity We’re looking for an Automation Test Lead and the role demands expertise on Automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber and UFT. Should lead the Team and responsible for Automation Test Plan, Test Strategy and Estimations. Candidate should have knowledge on building TestNG / Cucumber BDD / Robot / Hybrid Frameworks to conduct Automation testing on web and mobile applications. Should be expert in Java. Your Key Responsibilities Preparation of Automation Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Estimations Need to develop/enhance the Automation Framework work with the desired technology for Web/API/Mobile Automation Work allocation to the team Completion of tasks on time and regular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinators Interface with the customer representatives as and when needed Should be ready to travel to customers locations on need basis Skills And Attributes For Success Well versed on any Automation tool (Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber) Development/Enhancement of Automation Test Frameworks and configuration Strong communication, presentation and team building skills and experience in producing high quality reports, papers, and presentations To qualify for the role, you must have Framework Architecture development/enhancement Building Framework components and libraries Strong Experience in Automating Web Application Testing using Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, Python and UFT Strong knowledge on webservice Automation using Rest Assured Knowledge on Mobile application testing using Appium Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy Creating Automation Test Plan and getting approvals Creating, Organizing, and managing Test Automation Resources Creating, Enhancing, debugging and Running Test Cases Providing Automation Test Estimations Organizing, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues Generated Test Summary Reports Co-coordinating Test team members and Development team in order to resolve the issues Interacting with client-side people to solve issues and update status Able to lead team across geographies Actively take part in providing automation trainings in the company Excellent client-facing skills BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.
