Job Purpose and Impact The Technical Services Research Support Specialist role is a part of the TRANSFORM project, a five year project, and will help to develop and execute research trials working with internal and external partners to ensure research is executed in a way that meets research goals and complies with all applicable protocols. In this role, you will provide guidance to research partners and help manage those relationships. TRANSFORM is a USAID-supported, Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA)-aligned initiative that will develop and implement innovative, market-driven, and sustainable research and development (R&D) solutions to: (i) support increased global access to safe, affordable, high-quality animal-sourced nutrition; and (ii) strengthen global health security through the prevention of AMR, emerging zoonoses, and transboundary animal diseases. Key Accountabilities Support the execution of research trials in Poultry, Dairy and Shrimp animal health or studies ensuring all parties involved (research institutions and farmers) follow protocols. Foster strong relationships with select research partners and Government partners like USAID , FAO . Execute necessary training for those involved in trials to ensure all protocols are understood. Facilitate data collection related to trials or studies. Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences (B.V Sc) or equivalent experience Minimum of four years of related work experience- Research & Technical Services Other minimum qualifications may apply Preferred Qualifications Masters in Veterinary Sciences (M.V Sc.) Ability to work across multiple components of overall research projects
