Join us and directly contribute to Novartis’ vision to ReImagine Medicine Your Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Represent IT to the business or IT groups receiving services, ensuring that expectations for IT services are met. Identify and qualify new demand with overall responsibility for steering proposals through the early phases of approval; participate in establishment of budgets and investment proposals and obtain sponsorship and funding. Ensure the introduction of new / modified services happens in a planned, controlled and timely manner to minimize disruption and maximize benefit. -Create the detailed IT solution/service design, based on functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints. Develop, build, configure, customize and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements. -Hold end to end accountability for business processes, integrate services horizontally across organizational units, and manage interfaces between Service Delivery projects. Product Strategy and Direction: Define roadmap and long-term strategy for one or more products in digital technologies (e.g. Semantic Search, AL/ML, NLP/NLG, IOT, Blockchain etc) Continually assess voice of the customer, market segment trends, competitive opportuni-ties and threats to define new product features and integrate into overall product strategy Product Planning: Manage a cross-functional process to translate the desired customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap and major product releases. Create buy-in for the roadmap with stakeholders. Drive design of new features and estimations with solution architects, dependent CoEs and business Ensure Product documentation is updated with each new release (URS, FSDS, AH, OQ, PQ) Create Product overview presentation for business stakeholders Define Product strategy and governance model , Provide delivery leadership and project management to the product engineering team , Ownership & Accountability for product releases using best of breed agile and devops methods , Ensure product adheres security , compliance and regulatory requirements User Experience and Requirements Definition: Develop high-quality BRD's and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget., Product Roll-out: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse team’s representative of the patients and communities we serve. Minimum Requirements B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent Hands-on, passionate technologist with a ‘maker mindset’. At least 10 years total experience in IT in which at least 2-3 years as a Product manager At least 2-3 years as a Project Manager preferably using Agile/Devops methods At least two years experience in large enterprise grade product implementations and their deployments.
