Role Name And Description Senior - Demonstrating the ability to find information from EY and client resource efficiently The opportunity Senior will play a critical role in managing a team. Work closely with clients of ITQS within and outside EY Your Key Responsibilities Develop, mentor and supervise Analysts and Advanced Analysts: Act as a counsellor for Analysts and Advanced Analysts Proactively recognize issues and recommend solutions Proactively seek opportunities to diversify client load and exposure to different teams Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team Demonstrate basic presentation and public speaking skills, while actively participating in meetings Communicate in face-to-face situations, by phone and via email, and determine the appropriate mechanism for communicating, given the situation Communicate your progress and the project status to supervisors worldwide Take ownership of your schedule and proactively seek work when necessary to meet your annual chargeability goal Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently Explore the opportunity of going on rotation. In addition to specific competencies required for your role, you will also focus on developing the following in relation to firm-wide competencies: Identifying opportunities for process improvement Ensuring use of the methodologies, tools and technology specific to tax- Should have in depth knowledge using Onesource/ and or Corptax software Should have good knowledge on the subject and be able to help the team in answering their questions Identify the issues on an engagement, try to resolve and bring it to the attention of the Assistant Managers or Managers. Encouraging others to ask critical questions and share their ideas and concerns openly Provide balanced and constructive feedback with specific behavioural examples to the team members Developing strengths and opportunities collaboratively with team members by encouraging people to take action following feedback Contributing to a positive team environment by demonstrating consistent commitment and optimism towards work challenges Maintaining focus of team members on work products; holding others accountable for timely completion of high-quality work Showing a sense of urgency in responding to clients and team needs by responding to all queries/concerns promptly Focusing team members on key quality drivers for work assignments Building positive relationships with internal professionals and client personnel by demonstrating integrity and genuineness Skills And Attributes For Success Strong in MS Excel - Competent with using spreadsheets for data manipulation and review Good knowledge of other MS Office applications especially MS Word and MS PowerPoint Technically versatile and able to work with data from various sources of various complexity and formats To qualify for the role, you must have Clear verbal communication Professional and structured written communication Listening skills to respond effectively Self Assured & self-motivated attitude Organized and deadline focused Should have a Global mind set Should be nimble to adapt to change and thrive Should be able to work in a virtual world with teams globally Demonstrate leadership and executive presence Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and collaboratively with virtual teams Systematic Skills Detail orientated / Attention to detail Should be abreast of new and upcoming technologies Ability to address all relevant information/data and develop practical approaches to solving problems Possess creative and curious approach to tackle complex challenges, leveraging internal tools and resources to achieve favorable results Competent at meeting tight deadlines, performing high-quality work and diligent follow up Adept at summarizing and concluding activities, applying appropriate documentation standards and lessons learned Adept at protecting confidential and proprietary information Ideally, you’ll also have Should have in great knowledge on the international tax compliance- Prepare and review Form 5471, 8858, 8865 and other relevant disclosure statements What We Look For We look for candidates with proven capabilities of leading a team.
