General Summary As a member of QCT's Test Base Station group, candidate will be responsible for testing Access Stratum (PHY/MAC/RRC/Core-Network) protocols/features, in NR/LTE area. Job responsibilities include system level feature understanding, extensive test plan creation, verification and automation, issue log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems, collaborating with multiple internal teams across protocol stack in the process of testing and integration of new features. Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, System Design, Customer Support, Automation framework etc.) to debug and resolve issues. Key Requirements 3-8 years of experience in 3GPP protocol stack System Test, Test Architecture and planning, Test Automation. Solid understanding of Communications Systems, knowledge of NR/LTE PHY/MAC/RRC/NAS protocols, Call Processing and familiarity with Linux environment. Candidate must have strong problem solving skills, communication skills, and must be able to work independently. Programming skills in Python are desirable. Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., 4+ years Software Engineering or related work experience. Skills Certifications: Education Preferred Qualifications Work Experiences 6+ years Software Engineering or related work experience. ,3+ years experience with Database Management Software. ,3+ years experience with API. ,3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
