Job description
Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from India due to lockdown visa travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. We're keeping the situation under review and would adjust our position should the restrictive measures be removed later on.

- Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.< li>
- 12 years of experience in UX Design
< li> < ul>Preferred qualifications:- Track record of close collaboration with Product Managers to define and explore product opportunities< li>
- Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma)< li>
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery< li>
- A design portfolio that demonstrates strong design principles for web and or mobile platforms.

In an Interaction Designer role, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs for billions of people around the world—from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them, and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.
As an Interaction Designer, you will help define experiences for strategic Google Cloud initiatives. We aim to enable people and organizations around the world to use the same robust infrastructure that powers Google’s own products.
Responsibilities
< u>< strong>- Hands-on leader on the team that guides a cross-functional team and elevates the culture of UX thinking and design excellence.< li>
- Uplevel the quality of overall design output by example and through definition of system design thinking for cross experiences within the platform.< li>
- Own, drive, and manage highly strategic User Experience projects< li>
- Work with a cross-functional team to strategize and build compelling user-centric visions, including organizing people and process for alignment< li>
- Pitch and present concepts, proposals, and updates to executive stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design
