General Summary Design, develop and unit testing of Embedded OS device driver / Linux device drivers Education BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or in Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program. Skills/Experience At least 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in developing driver development with a record of strong individual technical achievement Strong programming skills in C. Must have hands on experience in developing the device drivers. Must have hands on experience in solving complex system issues with good problem-solving skills. Should be able to work in aggressive, high pressure environment. Should be able to handle the small team. Should be able to own the entire project deliverables Able to travel aboard. Excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Design, develop, unit test and documentation of the device driver for SoC. Bring up the driver and unit test the driver features in the new SOC. Optimize the driver for maximum performance. Bug analysis/fixing of the issues during product verification stage and customer reported issues. Travel to customer site for bug fixing. Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., 4+ years Software Engineering or related work experience. Skills Certifications: Education Preferred Qualifications Work Experiences 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). ,3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,3+ years experience with API. ,3+ years experience with Database Management Software. ,6+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
