The Role:
< strong>In this role, you will be involved in the complete software test cycle (design test plans, prepare and execute automated test cases and document results). The types of tests you will be performing are integration, functional and non-functional and will generally be performed at system level. Spotted a bug in the code? You’ll help with analyzing and debugging the code. Any reported issues from the field will also require your expertise to solve. Being part of our scrum team means you will be involved with estimation and planning. As we advocate clean code, you will be refactoring and looking to continuously improve the test automation code.
The product you will be working on is one of the most complex but probably the most interesting to work on at Irdeto. It is a framework which is meant to integrate with all core components of Irdeto Conditional Access System for content protection and content distribution. You’ll work in a dynamic, multinational, collaborative and self-managed Agile team of Software Engineers in Test.

Your mission at Irdeto:

- Participate to the validation of complex systems, with a focus on service performance and reliability.< li>
- With an automation first attitude provide solutions for improvements, together with other QA engineers.< li>
- Lead the introduction of new testing tools and frameworks, and maintain existing ones.< li>
- Develop and maintain automated test suites, for each test level and integrate into the CI CD pipelines.< li>
- Ensure test reporting and data management.< li>
- Drive the load and performance testing.< li>
- Pair programming and code reviews of the automated test cases.< li>
- Challenge old habits, bring new ideas to grow our quality standards.
< li> < ul> How you can add value to the team?
< strong>- An obtained BSc MSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.< li>
- Solid professional experience in test automation and test management, of at least 3 years, for large scale, high traffic, highly reliable systems.< li>
- Good automation skills and experience in an automation tool (TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, PyTest, etc.).< li>
- Experience in cross-component, integration and end-to-end testing.< li>
- Solid experience programming in Python.< li>
- Solid experience with networks, OS (Windows and Linux).< li>
- Good knowledge of delivery tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and versioning systems (Git).< li>
- Able to design and maintain test automation frameworks (Robot framework or others) and test suites.< li>
- Experience in performance (JMeter), capacity and GUI tests, is a plus.< li>
- Experience with dashboard tools (eg. Grafana, Kibana) is a plus.< li>
- Understanding of agile methodology of software development.< li>
- ISTQB certification is a plus.< li>
- Team player mentality, proactive, quality-minded and a positive attitude.< li>
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
