What will your role be?
- This position is an opportunity to work in multi-national, multi-discipline team responsible for Dassault Systèmes' Mining Industry Solutions portfolio and related desktop applications. You will be part of a skilled and motivated team, adept at troubleshooting issues, and exposed to a number of different technologies. Together you will work on a variety of projects, products, and solution deliveries to meet our clients’ current and future needs.
- As a Software Engineer you will hold many responsibilities, primarily developing and testing software. You will contribute to specifications, planning and scheduling, software architecture and design, work breakdown, development, and testing. You are passionate about coding with quality, technology and innovation, and you build these into the solutions the team delivers.
- You already work in an Agile environment, understand Scrum methodologies, and can communicate well with colleagues with different areas of responsibility. You are an independent thinker with strong opinions, loosely held. You are proactive and can manage your own work, be autonomous whilst working in close collaboration with the wider team. You can lead the team to better coding practices, ensuring a high quality, performant result.
The challenges ahead:
- Delivering world class applications, services, and value to end-users
- Design and develop new functionalities, primarily specialised in resource modelling and mine production
- Transform application requirements into working software by selecting algorithms, planning UI and workflow, and identifying component dependencies
- Code, compile and run unit tests according to development processes and metrics, as part of the development pipeline
- Resolve product issues reported by the Technical Customer Service or by Product QA teams
- Sync with sibling teams to smooth the development operation pipeline < div>< body>< html>
