As a Software Developer you will be a key player in the global Dassault Systèmes software team; collaborating with geologists, mining engineers and application owners to design and implement software solutions to help digitally advance key players in the mining industry. You will help develop a new generation of applications that serve the natural resource industry. Working with the latest in desktop & web technology, you will be exposed to the latest web application frameworks and cloud architecture. Also, as a part of Dassault Systèmes, you will have a unique opportunity to view various leading technologies in 3D modelling, simulation, and VR that have been successfully applied across many industries. The Challenges Ahead • Build upon innovative solutions to optimise the modelling, planning, design and production for mining businesses. • Develop algorithms using Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, graph theory and other suitable technologies to optimise the value (NPV) of mining operations under complex operational and geometric constraints or automate the mine planning and design workflows.
