Job OverviewJob Overview GENERAL SUMMARY Qualcomm IT seeks a ServiceNow Manager to lead and manage the teams of Developers and Operational Support. The role will also involve solutioning the complex servicenow technical solutions. This role also will involve assisting the developers and operational team members on the technical issues. Responsibilities Lead and Manage the ServiceNow Development teams; Guide and Assist development teams on the technical solutions Lead and Manage the ServiceNow Operations Support team; ssist Operations team on the technical blockers Continuously review and re-define the processes with-in the team Work closely with a group of System Analysts to understand the requirements and provide estimates, solutions and work on the project plans Work closely with IT and Non-IT user groups; Provide the right solutions, good customer support and maintain good relations. Motivates direct team to accept change and adapt priorities in order to meet changing demands. Adapts personal approach to meet the needs of different or new situations. Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work. Maintains strong relationships with internal/external customers and business stakeholders. Builds a broad network of strong relationships across the organization. Provides recommendations to management and business stakeholders on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes. Demonstrates the ability to effectively utilize multiple approaches to gain buy-in. Develops, coaches, and mentors members of the team and provides development assignments. Communicates performance expectations and monitors and evaluates performance of members of team to ensure plans are met. Technical 10+ years of overall IT experience. 5+ years of experience into ServiceNow development or Operations 2+ years of experience in managing the development and operation teams. Strong ServiceNow technical knowledge on various ServiceNow scripting concepts In-depth knowledge on ServiceNow modules like ITSM, Asset Management, PPM, HR Hub Strong experience in desigining technial solutions and provide assistance to development teams Strong experience in designing/developing complex integrations with REST, SOAP, Middleware Min. Qualifications* 5+ years of hands-on experience on developing the ServiceNow Implementation Solid System integration experience using web services (SOAP, REST, JMS/Middleware) Well versed with different ServiceNow products Well versed with ServiceNow scripting concepts Excellent communication skills - verbal & written are truly essential Experience working in Agile mode and working with remotely located teams. Develops, coaches, and mentors members of the team and provides development assignments. Motivates direct team to accept change and adapt priorities in order to meet changing demands. Preferred Qualifications* Solid experience in and leading and managing the ServiceNow Development & Operations team 2+ years of experience in managing a team size of 10+ developers and support team members Adjusting own behaviors to work efficiently and effectively in light of new information, changing situations and/or different environments.
