About The Job Role

< u>< strong>Gainsight is building a world-class team of engineers with a mandate to architect, design, build, scale, and maintain our cutting-edge customer success product suite. If you are a great Senior Software Backend Engineer(NodeJS) with experience as a backend developer in common languages and frameworks NodeJS (mandatory), Spring Boot (optional), ExpressJS, etc. with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.), integrating with JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular JS, etc. building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required, read on.

What We Are Looking For
< u>< strong>
  • Experience as a backend developer in common languages and frameworks NodeJS (mandatory), Spring Boot (optional), ExpressJS, etc.< li>
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, how to design and engineer them.< li>
  • Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented RESTful API services.< li>
  • Experience with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.)< li>
  • Experience integrating with JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Angular JS, etc.< li>
  • Ability to write effective unity, integration, and API tests.< li>
  • Nice to have knowledge of infrastructure automation and provisioning tools.< li>
  • Nice to have - Documentation experience, using tools such as Git GitHub, Confluence, JIRA, Trello etc.< li>
  • Ability to train and mentor junior engineers< li>
  • Expert in problem-solving skills and with 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer(NodeJS)
