< u>< strong>ICE Data Services India Private Limited., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a passionate QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will work closely internally with Business Analysts, End-Users and Developers to facilitate and understand requirements and impact of changes in order to assist debugging and enhancing ICE Data Service applications.

The candidate will be part of technology team and will
  • Review functional requirements to assess their impact on the software applications and formulate tests cases from them. < li>
  • Write concise, complete, well organized bug reports, test cases, and status reports. < li>
  • Participate in setup, configuration and maintenance of software test environments. < li>
  • Evaluate the application and test cases to be automated. Work with QA Engineers to create a library of automated tests to maximize test coverage. < li>
  • Work with supervisor’s to evaluate and recommend enhancements, document QA processes and improve best testing practices. < li>
  • Perform test case reviews and provide feedback to junior team members in developing appropriate test cases and strategies. < li>
  • Contribute to team by performing analysis, monitoring systems and assisting technical & product managers in the evaluation of QA processes. < li>
  • Provide release support during production software deployment. < li>
  • Have ‘break-it’ attitude and at the same time be a problem solver.
    < li> < ul> Minimum Requirements
    < u>< strong>
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills < li>
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills < li>
    • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at same time < li>
    • Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices and tools < li>
    • Experience testing applications < li>
    • Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools < li>
    • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with following technologies < li>
    • Automating test cases in either Java or Python < li>
    • Oracle MySQL < li>
    • UNIX LINUX system
      < li> < ul> Desired Additional Requirements
      < u>< strong>
      • Experience with XML, JAVA or Python Data Science packages e.g. Pandas, Numpy. < li>
      • Experience with code version systems like SVN, Git < li>
      • Experience in the Financial Industry (experience with Fixed Income products is preferred) < li>
      • Hands-on experience with basic server administration, including configuring files, starts and stops
        < li> < ul> List Of Preferred Degree(s), License(s), And or Certification(s)

        < u>< strong>B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent
