Position Summary

< u>< strong>We're currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic individual for the role of Lead Front end developer for our Chennai team. As the lead front end developer, you will serve as a technical leader for your team. You will collaborate with technical and product leadership across the enterprise to recommend, build, own and manage the solution for our Industrial IoT products. You have deep technical skills and aptitude to build products and solutions from scratch. You will help establish best practices, coding standards and will enforce design patterns to build sustainable products. This role facilitates the implementation, testing, and maintenance of new products by developing React.js UIs. You will actively mentor your team members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop new user facing features writing reusable code and libraries < li>
  • Define how the application looks and how it works and bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.< li>
  • Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability< li>
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholder and translate UI UX design wireframes to actual code< li>
  • Code, test, debug, document and maintain software applications using established coding standards and methodologies.< li>
  • Participate in Scrum activities, perform code reviews, contribute to a high performing, growing team.
    < li> < ul> Competencies Needed for Success
    < strong>
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited university < li>
    • 7+ years of product development experience on an Agile Team < li>
    • 5+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)< li>
    • 5+ years of experience working as a front-end developer.< li>
    • 3+ years of Experience with React.js and Redux or related technologies.< li>
    • 3+ mobile application development experience in both Android & iOS< li>
    • Strong understanding of web app frontend development, including responsive design, state management, and performance optimization.< li>
    • Experience with one or more Unit Testing Frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai, etc.)< li>
    • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience working with backend developers to design consume APIs< li>
    • Experience in automated UI tests and behavior-driven tests.

      < u>< strong>
      • Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering technical field< li>
      • A strong track record of delivering successful, highly scalable applications in team environment.< li>
      • Working experience in a fast-paced startup environment.< li>
      • Typescript- Graphql is a Plus (Apollo Relay Hasura)< li>
      • Familiarity with other JS frameworks such as Angular preferred< li>
      • Familiarity with CI CD (Docker, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
