Job Summary: Risk Management team at EY plays an important role in managing the internal risks of the firm associated with accepting a new client or an engagement or risks associated with any of our on-going audit / non audit engagement. Formed in the Year 2007, the Risk Management team is growing rapidly as a Center of Excellence for all standardized quality / compliance related activities that can be efficiently undertaken from Global Delivery Services location. Strategic Projects - The team supports Global Risk Management in rapidly deploying professionals on ad-hoc, outcome-based projects as well as acts as an incubator for new RM services. It is an extension of the onshore RM teams and helps in streamlining existing processes, onboarding new opportunities, designing end-to-end processes, and managing specific project activities. Working as a member of Strategic Projects, this position would provide support to Global RM and GDS RMS Leadership. The work includes: Supporting strategic projects and service delivery for complex processes at GDS-RMS Raising the technical complexity of Risk Management (RM) tasks/assignments performed at GDS Enablement Services-RMS (GDS-RMS) This position is ideal for a team player who likes to maintain daily virtual contact with a large number of people around the world. This position is designed for people who like to be challenged and want to grow in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment with modern tools Candidate Attributes: Be able to manage client expectations in a high-pressure, changing environment while maintaining a calm, professional working style Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) Bring innovation to improve processes and work products, and have the ability to learn/adapt quickly when required Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy, timeliness, and problem-solving skills Strong commitment to quality and self-motivated learning Client-focused with an eye for detail and potential issues/conflicts to manage the risks before they occur Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Performs initial review of submissions from client teams, evaluate completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of proposed requests Deliver high quality, client-ready output with minimal supervision Work independently to drives the process requests to completion Acts as a liaison between the client and Knowledge team, gather all necessary information and share with Knowledge to drive the request to completion Individual will reference existing policies, will need to research on EY platforms and propose solutions to issues Support strategic and complex processes as well as ad hoc projects at GDS-RMS Assist in transitioning new processes from Risk Management at Global or Regions to GDS Help design processes and transfer to others in GDS-RMS for recruitment, training, and deployment Support and manage key operational activities at the RM Executive Education & Experience: MBA’s degree with at least 3 years of experience Absolute fluency in spoken and written English; excellent listening comprehension skills Ability to work independently with well-developed problem-solving skills and understanding of processes Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, PowerBi) Solid technical understanding of and experience in the RM function preferred Other Position Requirements: Willingness to work more than standard hours, as needed EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
