The opportunity Security Technology Services (STS) organization, a part of Information Security, enables over 330,000 individuals across 140+ countries to access systems and information securely. As a member of the Security Technology Services (STS) team the Protection Service Manager partners closely across the Security Technology Services (STS) organization, Information Security and business partners to support the processes and successful adoption of internal information security protection products and services. This includes, analytics and reporting, service introduction and readiness, service improvements and other activities identified pertaining to end-to-end service management. The successful candidate will be a superb communicator who is proficient at articulating priorities and developing relationships to drive service adoption for internal security technology offerings. Your Key Responsibilities Assess product performance and value created to clients to identify areas for improvement Interact with business partners and evaluate business models, processes and operations to gather, understand and analyze business requirements Educate and strategically collaborate with stakeholders on the key capabilities available through internal products and services meeting specific security controls Understand industry trends, vendor products, and threat landscape to help drive strategy and set, maintain, and communicate direction for protection capability delivery Understand and advocate for business customer needs to ensure we are deploying the right service capabilities at the right time to deliver maximum value to the business Support development of business cases defining protection capability value proposition to support product and services roadmap investments Analyze the outcomes of newly implemented solutions / technology to verify they are meeting business requirements Review product metrics to report on the usage, performance, effectiveness, and health of service offerings. Drive early adoption, service introduction, operational transition, and continuous life cycle activities for service offerings Drive service improvement and product compliance initiatives for portfolio Participate in vendor management Assist in capturing customer feedback and align solutions, product platforms, products and capabilities to customer and business requirements Draft, publish and maintain portfolio knowledge, processes, and support documentation Skills And Attributes For Success Understanding of core Information Security principles and experience driving product strategies and roadmaps for information security products In depth knowledge of data protection platforms and vendors, to support proper recognition and potential impact of new product or service introductions Experience developing and translating product/service capability vision into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements Experience with developing reports, participating in, and driving discussions with senior leaders, and driving improvement action Strong analytical acumen and solution orientation to influence and guide teams in the support of avoiding financial, operational, and security risks to EY and our customers Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of a matrixed, geographically, and culturally dispersed organization Effective communication and analysis skills to break down complex issues, formulate solutions, and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization including senior and/or executive management Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language to work effectively with end users and IT peers To qualify for the role you must have Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience 3 years working with Information Security technology products and service offerings Experience in global enterprise implementation of leading enterprise data protection technologies Experience in project management, service introduction, and service readiness processes Ideally, you’ll also have Security certification such as CISSP or CISM preferred ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification a plus Agile experience a plus What We Look For Deep critical thinking skills demonstrating analytical and systematic approach to problem solving Experience working in a global virtual environment Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Good judgment, tact, and decision-making ability Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to work with cross cultural teams.
