Security Partner Architect Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with architecting and designing cloud-based solutions
• Experience in enterprise security solutions including cloud native and ISV solutions.
• Experience working with external partners and driving cross-functional technical projects
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering, or 8 years relevant experience
• Development experience using Google Cloud Platform or other cloud products.
• Experience in automating, scripting and/or software development.
• Experience in co-developing security solutions with multiple ISVs.
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud technologies including security, networking, kubernetes and compute engine.
• Strong communication skills and partner/customer focus mindset.

In this role, you will work closely with Global Consulting and System Integration Partners to drive our joint customer's transformation to cloud-based architectures. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by working closely with Global Strategic Initiatives (GSIs). You will oversee the technical engagement with partners including assessment workshops, final architecture review, assisting in account cloud growth initiatives, guiding early Pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs) including Application Migration, and engage with key influencers within GSIs to help shape their strategy for public cloud adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with our partners, empowering them to build successful joint solutions.
• Be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for partners and help partners leverage Google's technology to enhance their own offerings.
• Identify technical dependencies and partner roadblocks proactively; work with cross-functional teams to resolve.
• Build trust and influence across teams. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize partner's needs-scoped projects as well as establish a vision and roadmap.
