Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, etc.), or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience coding in ABAP. Preferred qualifications: Strong coding experience implementing financial or supply chain solutions using SAP latest technologies and working with several functional areas such as SAP FI/CO/BRIM/MM/SD/PP, PO, CPI, or Ariba and on-premise/Cloud implementations of SAP. Experience implementing and customizing third party software or building custom supply chain/financial applications. Experience with Java, javascript. Experience in multiple full system implementation life cycles in Finance and/or Supply Chain domains. Understanding of information management, data modeling, system integration, development methodologies, and unit testing. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. As a SAP Application Engineer, you will play a role in developing, deploying, and supporting Google’s internal business applications serving the Consumer Hardware team. You’ll be part of a team that implements vendor sourced enterprise software, configuring that software, customizing it, and integrating with other internal systems when needed. Responsibilities Develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies tied to specific ERP systems. Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Maintain highest levels of development practices, including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code.
