This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in. GENERAL SUMMARY The BDC Post Silicon Engineering group has an opening for a RF Bench Characterization Engineer. This group is involved in developing Test solutions and Enabling characterization of highly integrated Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers, Power management, Analog and Mixed signal ASICs designed by Qualcomm. Job responsibilities for this position include New Test methodology Development , Test Automation, Design and debug of Test Infrastructure ,RF Device Characterization and Data analysis. Skills/Experience: 1. Expertise in Test automation development using at least 1 automation tool such as LabVIEW, Test Stand or Python 2. Strong software skills for Developing and Debugging Test Automation code 3. Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, RF & Mixed-signal circuit analysis techniques 4. Good knowledge of RF measurement techniques such as Linearity, EVM, Noise Figure and Phase noise. 5. Good RF and Mixed Signal post silicon characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus. 6. Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer & Signal Generator 7. Hands on Knowledge with RF & Mixed-signal PCB bring up and debug. Using CAD SW such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro is a plus. 8. Able to work independently with initiative through challenges, Technical or otherwise. 9. Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and global teams. 10. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals is a plus. Education Requirements: 1.
