Regional Trade Marketing Manager

< strong>The trade marketing function has been created and further strengthened with this strategic business objective in mind. Reporting to the National Head of Trade Marketing and the Divisional Head, RTMM role would support the Planning and implementation of BTL strategy for the category across the regions & channels in line with the company’s overall business strategy.

Your Roles & Responsibilities
< u>< strong>
  • BTL Management< strong>: Closure of inputs with HO trade marketing team, scheme letter creation, ongoing BTL interventions, collaboration with ZSMs on scheme design, scheme provisioning, syncing BTL inputs to regional priority calendar, ROI calculations and BTL optimization < li>
  • Channel program management< strong>: Reviews of 3P merchandizing team, retail royalty program visibility calendar planning and management, review of Retail(GCP), Wholesale (Parivaar) and Rural(Pragati) loyalty programs, target setting and planning of interventions in loyalty program outlets, monitoring of Width of Achievement (WoA) < li>
  • Micro Marketing(CMM):< strong> Liaisoning with brand team for closing action plans on key opportunities or concerns in micro markets, planning of activation calendar, execution of on ground activations, collaboration with service and POSM vendors and end to end management < li>
  • Distribution enhancement< strong>: Planning and execution of activations designed to result in Weighted distribution (WD) and Numeric Distribution (ND) gains for key brands < li>
  • Driving NPDs< strong>: Plan and execute NPD launches, monitor NPD distribution and scale up < li>
  • Forecasting and stock planning< strong>: Collaborate with demand planning team on 3 month rolling forecast and with logistics team on stock monitoring

    < li> < ul> Stakeholder Interactions

    < strong>The role requires interacting extensively with internal and external partners to execute category and brand mandates
    • Internal< strong>: Internal interactions will be with CTMMs, the ASMs, the Zonal sales managers and the Divisional Head. The role will also entail close coordination with the brand team, regional finance, regional IT, and HO demand planning team to help in planning and delivering objectives of the category < li>
    • External:< strong> External interactions include coordination with service vendors and numerous external agencies such as printers, design agency, BLT agency, AC Nielsen, IMRB from time to time to ensure perfect execution of trade marketing initiatives for the year

      < li> < ul> Position Requirements

      < u>< strong>Qualification:< u>< strong> Post Graduate degree (MBA) from a premier B-School in Sales & Marketing

      Experience
      < u>< strong>
      • Total experience in the range of 3- 5 years with 2-3 years as Area Sales manager in a multicategory FMCG organisation. < li>
      • Experience in a central regional role in Sales development trade marketing will be an added advantage

        < li> < ul> Critical Skills
        < u>< strong>
        • Excellent analytical skills with strong understanding of FMCG GT business< li>
        • Interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation and communications skills to manage effective stakeholder relationships across teams; < li>
        • High on energy and driven. Strong attitude in coming up with new initiatives that would help in better business delivery < li>
        • Proven track record of strong execution, systematic planning, commercial acumen and critical thinking

          < li> < ul> Reporting Structure

          < strong>You will report to the National Head of Trade Marketing & the Divisional Head and will have 1 Regional trade marketing executive and regional MIS resource reporting into you.
