Job Description

< u>< strong>Responsibilities of this position demand that the incumbent understand complex technical problems and demonstrate the ability to validate the product functionalities and provide creative solutions for automation. The incumbent will be a team member within On-Board Minestar India team. This person will ensure Terrain for Grading and Loading on-board products delivered with superior performance and quality.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
< u>< strong>
  • Lead Alpha Validation team. < li>
  • Accountable for L4 Validation. < li>
  • Execution of Integration and regression testing on production indented software. < li>
  • Design architect automation test framework for validating Terrain for Grading & Loading on-board System < li>
  • Responsible for validating new feature concepts. < li>
  • Participate in global NPI & CPI issues in line with Caterpillar product development processes. < li>
  • Daily collaboration with global system engineers to identify problem solutions. < li>
  • Perform failure analysis, identify root cause, generate ideas, and propose solution to medium complex on-board system issues. < li>
  • Communicate results to suppliers, team members, and other business units. < li>
  • Perform product and process maintenance.
    < li> < ul> Educational Background

    < u>< strong>Requires a bachelor degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science or a masters degree.

    Required Experience Skills

    < u>< strong>Should have 6 to 9 years of experience in Software design and Development and have exhibited ability to work on complex assignments.
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in embedded software validation. < li>
    • Minimum 4+ Years of Experience on Python. < li>
    • Proven experience on Embedded Software Testing or similar role < li>
    • Experience in CAN,J1939, Ethernet protocols, < li>
    • Hands on experience using vector tools like Canalyzer, Canoe and CAPL scripting. < li>
    • Experience in developing Automation Testing using C or Python < li>
    • Added advantage for Automotive domain experience < li>
    • Professional understanding of agile development tools. < li>
    • Good product knowledge on Heavy machine mining equipment’s. < li>
    • Preferably from Grading and Loading or similar machine application background. < li>
    • Requires adequate knowledge on Software validation engineering practices. < li>
    • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills < li> < ul> Relocation is available for this position.
