From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. As an Android Product Marketing Manager for Google in India, you will be part of a team which will define product strategy by leading co-marketing campaigns with external partners in India and closely collaborating with other product areas within Google. You will work closely with our Android cross-functional teams, regional and global marketing teams in building the Android user strategy, and execute high impact campaigns and analysis. You will also be working with external Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), carrier, and retail partners to build a robust Android ecosystem. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself. Responsibilities Work with our OEM, Carrier, and retail partners to drive adoption of Android through co-marketing campaigns. Propose and secure budgets, operate expenditures to drive the execution, and track results and report back to marketing teams. Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Google to evaluate the marketing opportunities from a strategic, financial, and operational perspective. Be the voice of users in India by showcasing the unique market nuances of the region through deep insights and guiding product and brand development to best serve the needs of users in India. Shape creative materials, monitor and evaluate performance, and share campaign learnings with relevant teams.
