Principal Program Manager

The MSAI team is key to Microsoft's strategy with data and experiences that enrich M365 productivity offerings & is looking for strong PMs to lead the next wave of innovations.

 

Our team is a diverse & inclusive team that makes data driven decisions. We are working to enable customers to find, do and discover across the productivity apps they love, so they can achieve more naturally.  We are looking at helping M365 users instantly, contextually and more naturally find the most relevant information to help complete their tasks.

In this position you will work to strategize & build Search experiences in the M365 suite.  It requires strong PM skills with the ability to build and deliver value and innovation to customers.  This includes building plans with clear requirements, being hands-on with data and research to understand user behavior, maintain deep and productive partnerships, be obsessed with customer needs and feedback, and being comfortable with end-to-end ownership for new and innovative features.

Responsibilities

< u>< strong>This strategic role will own delivering vision, goals & roadmap of key Search experiences, embedded inside the M365 productivity suite, impacting millions of users. From design to execution, the role includes identifying customer productivity needs and delivering solutions that will make their lives easier.

Qualifications

< u>< strong>Succeeding in this role will require:  

• 12+ years of product management experience < li>
• Strong leadership, effective communication skills, great team and cross-group collaboration skills < li>
• Strong obsession with customer needs and translating into product capabilities. < li>
• Demonstrated ability to deliver great user experiences for customer facing products - not with opinion but with data. < li>
• Self-motivated and curious, with a growth mindset, with the ability to break down complex problems and think creatively. < li>
• Passion for technology < li>
• Being comfortable with modern UX constructs for cross platform development is a plus < li>
• Being comfortable with AI ML to spearhead product design related discussions and roadmap
