EY-Consulting – Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse Data Modeller – Senior Consultant The opportunity We’re looking for Senior Consultant with expertise in Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse & ETL to join the EA group of our consulting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering. We are seeking experienced and motivated Cloud Data Engineer with a strong track record of business analytics and data warehousing to join our team providing deep technical expertise in Data warehousing, Analytics, Business Intelligence and Machine Learning across all industry sectors. Our Cloud Engineers work closely with external clients, presales, other architects and internal teams to design, build and enable solutions on different cloud & BI Stacks This role demands a highly technical, extremely hands-on cloud data engineer who will work closely with our EY Partners and external clients to develop new business as well as drive projects and other initiatives on Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse & Machine Learning. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of the value of data and analytics and proven experience in delivering solutions to different lines of business and technical leadership. From top to bottom approach, the Cloud data Engineer will engage with a customer to discover business problems and goals, and develop solutions using different cloud services. Your Key Responsibilities Lead Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse offerings, SQL, Plsql, ETL, Rest API, CLI & Python Identify the different data ingestion and extraction mechanism for different Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse from cloud storage (Like Oracle Object Storage, AZURE Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azue Synapse, Amazon S3 etc.) and on – premise storage and applications. Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the data architecture, data models and standards for various Data Integration & Data Warehousing projects in Oracle ADWC combined with other technologies Take ownership of technical solutions from design and architecture perspective, ensure the right direction and propose resolution to potential data pipeline-related problems. Model new features and subject areas and integrate them with existing structures to provide a consistent solution as well as develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flows and data models. Deliver high quality client solutions that meet and exceed client and EY expectations and are delivered on-time and on-budget. Manage client solution delivery, including defining project approach, leading and motivating project teams, monitoring and managing project risks, managing client and EY key stakeholders, and successfully delivering client solutions. Identifying new business opportunities, including building strong client relations, understanding client needs and EY solution offerings, communicating client opportunities to EY leadership, and helping develop client opportunities. Skills And Attributes For Success Identify data ingestion needs for downstream systems, estimate their complexity and route them to the corresponding ingestion teams supporting Region or line of Business Must have hands on experience moving data to cloud databases like Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse, Oracle DBCS etc. Must have hands on experience extracting data from Oracle Fusion Applications, Salesforce and placing into Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse and Oracle Object Storage. Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database utilities, such as SQL Developer Web, SQL*Loader, Data Pump, Zeppelin Notebook techniques using Python and Sql Proficiency in data modelling, very good understanding of data management concepts, Dimensional modelling and their specific applications. Very good knowledge of RDBMS topics, ability to write complex SQL, PL/SQL Experience in requirement gathering, solution blueprint, performing fit gap analysis, Business process design. Experience to translate business analyst requirements into analytics metadata. Must have extensive hands on/end to end implementation experience using ODI/Inforamatica or any integration tool. Must have experience in designing complex integration scenarios. Experience in answering business scenarios and requirements through Data-marts, Aggregate tables and queries. Experience in scripting language like Python, R, Ruby etc To qualify for the role, you must have Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Autonomous Datawarehouse Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience in DW, ETL and SQL. Overall 8-10 years of industry experiences with sound knowledge of Data warehousing & Data Modelling Ideally, you’ll also have Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines Good understanding of outsourcing and off shoring, building win/win strategies and contracts with suppliers Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud Experience with Cloud data base like Snowflake, Redshift etc Experience with Oracle Applications – Oracle E-business Suite or Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Fusion HCM (the Oracle cloud SaaS offering) Integration development to/from other systems What We Look For Consulting experience, including assessments and implementations Documenting requirements and processes (e.g., process flows) Working collaboratively in a team environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills B.E. / Master’s degree required.
