Perimeter Security Ops Specialist Network & Security Analysis The desired candidate will be responsible in reviewing business requirement of entire infrastructure related to network feasibility/firewall/server level for enabling end to end application thoroughly. He/she will participate in project review discussions, work with aligned technology teams to ensure to meet business requirements. Will be acting as single point of contact and ability to analyse customer requirements to ensure all standards, policies and guidelines are upheld from the compliance and information security perspective. Responsibilities Process Firewall, Proxy, SEC ACL requests and perform risk assessments to ensure that the connectivity is compliant with Citi Information Security Standards and IS Policies. Provide Information Security oversight and guidance to Citi businesses requiring Third party connectivity as it relates to Citi Information Security Standards and IS Policies. Liaise with multiple technology teams (i.e. Perimeter Security Ops; network build; LINUX/Windows Server admin; Remote Access Services); to facilitate cross-functional solutions as it relates to Third party connectivity aligning with Citigroup Information Security Standards. Experience in security appliance device such as Checkpoints, Juniper srx & netscreen os. Experience with networking and TCP/IP, DNS, load-balancing, network routing with EGP/IGP protocols like BGP,ospf,EIGRP. Strong experience in NAT /ACL’s function and packet flow for tshooting. Strong experience in IPsec VPN/GRE/DMVPN. Strong experience in packet flow, natting function,ipsec vpn, firewall access rules in term of troubleshooting the connectivity top to bottom. Basic experience in log analysis tools such as splunk,NSM. Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree; more than 5 years of experience Strong background in a similar role Strong understanding of enterprise network Relevant certifications preferred: Checkpoint, Juniper firewalls, Palo Alto firewall, CCNA, CCNP. Skills Strong experience in Check Point, Juniper and Palo Alto Firewalls Competence in Cisco ASA and Juniper SSL VPN appliance Hardware Encryption (Encryptions/IPSEC/GRE/GETVPN) Encryption Algorithms Access Control Lists Routing Configuration IPSEC/GRE/GETVPN TCP/IP Protocols and Ports. Competence in Linux/UNIX Advance written and verbal communication skills in English Competencies Strong analytical and quantitative capability with attention to detail Forward thinking, ability to identify and contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow. Organization ability to prioritize work and deliver on time against project plans. Maintain highest level of integrity Exhibit high degree of flexibility and ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision Strong communication, relationship building and diplomacy skills Strategic thinking and ability to deliver against tactical goals Self-starter and be able to manage time against deliverables Ability to function under high stress situations and can logically troubleshoot complex network and/or application connectivity issues.
