Position Summary Manager - Solution Architect - M365 Work you’ll do As a member of the Global Digital Collaboration team at Deloitte, this role will drive innovation and virtualization of the enterprise through advanced solution architectures leveraging the M365 product suite and Azure technologies, with an emphasis on security and confidentiality. Responsible for developing technology strategy, product and feature evaluations, risk and security assessments and detailed architecture designs, this role will touch every aspect of the M365 landscape, working closely with Deloitte Global, member firms and service line IT professionals, Microsoft and other technology vendors. This role will advise Deloitte practitioners and professionals on the best use of these technologies for their own solutions while delivering and evolving a best-in-class security posture. As such, the role is expected to: Oversee a portfolio of technical solutions within a Studio delivery channel focusing on both system architecture and integration. Produce solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications for various business applications. Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines business objectives. Work with application, data, and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project. Develop enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms. Understand and drive best practices in enterprise delivery, operations, support and governance Propose changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems. Serve as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines. Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define product vision and roadmaps, understanding future IT trends and standards. This role will also be responsible for the performance and development of other Studio technical team members, including other architects and developers, and for participation in recruiting and other people management activities Qualifications - External Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experience and accomplishments 8 -12 years industry experience, in architecture and delivery of software products and solutions based on Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, SharePoint Online and SPFx; experience with C# and .Net a plus 5+ years’ experience architecting and implementing Office 365 solutions in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Graph preferably in a multi-geo environment 5+ years of experience designing and implementing off-prem public cloud (Azure, etc.) environments, solution architectures and operational models. Software design, cloud architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering, particularly with Azure development and design work that may include logical design, I/O, and microservices based solutions 5+ years of experience with IaaS, 5+ Years with PaaS and experience with SaaS offerings 4+ years of experience with Azure & SPO Cloud migrations 2+ years of experience with Azure AI + Machine Learning Application architect with design/development experience on one or more multiple platforms example (C#/.NET/Asp.NET) Current working experience with application architecture and development using popular cloud and hybrid platforms cloud PaaS platforms Strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably designing and implementing off-prem cloud (Azure) or on-prem/private cloud virtualized architectures and solutions, including active-active and geo/regional resiliency with near zero RPO & RTO Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Angular/Angular JS/React JS and Node JS., PowerShell, SQL, .NET, Strong experience in leading architecture activities like design & proof-of-concepts. Experience in DevOps and Scaled Agile Ability to communicate technical concepts in business language a plus Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. Strong experience in working with the Microsoft Graph API and SDK Experience with Office 365 global administration, architecture, and development Excellent communication and documentation skills, including technical and executive-level communications Experience with people management, including performance and development of junior staff How You’ll Grow At Deloitte, we’ve invested a great deal to create a rich environment in which our professionals can grow.
