The opportunity As part of EYTS, your work will span the full product lifecycle - from design through engineering, product management, deployment, and testing, to support, user experience and architecture across several areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and all associated services. Our primary focus areas, or Big Bets include decision support systems, recommendation engines, advanced analytics, and features that improve operation efficiencies – built on top AI/ML technology stack. Your Key Responsibilities Machine Learning Solutions tech lead will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems according to business requirements. Responsible for model development: Data exploration, training data, feature extraction and model development, validation and scoring on structured and unstructured data and to highlight patterns, anomalies, relationships, and trends Apply standard statistical methods, simulation models and statistical programming as needed Act as an SME on ML/AI initiatives and projects Lead all technical/development activities of the team which implements solutions centred around Artificial Intelligence technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Conversational AI, Natural Language Processing and Document Intelligence. Demonstrate deep understanding of and ability to teach data science, concepts, tools, features, functions and benefits of different approaches to apply them Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define probable solutions and present result in a clear and concise manner Keep abreast of developments in the field maintaining effective and consistent communication within the team, with peers, the leadership team, and the peers in other IT groups Producing high quality deliverables in accordance with the project timeline Providing formal and informal coaching on-the-job to develop the team in machine learning and deep learning Supporting the development of innovative solutions and responding to client RFP’s on digital / emerging technologies Ensure team is maintaining adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc. Responsibly own project technical delivery and take it through completion Maintaining effective and consistent communication within the team, with peers, the leadership team and the peers in other IT groups Producing high quality deliverables in accordance with the project timeline Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role, you must have B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ MS or equivalent degree in Computer Science discipline 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 4 years hands-on experience in data science, machine learning and data engineering projects. 2+ years leading technical teams: mentoring, coaching less experienced team members, day-to-day management of development activities Strong programming skills in Python Experience with modern software development including Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD Experience in deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models in cloud / on-premise infrastructure Experience with MLOps and DataOps tools is a plus Good understanding of standard NLP and machine learning techniques Experience with machine learning and deep learning libraries such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Spacy, NLTK and other open source libraries Experience using Machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, decision trees, SVM, Decision Forests, Linear Regression, Logistic Regression etc., Prior experience in natural language processing, information extraction and text analytics Experience in real-time machine learning (model drift monitoring, online learning) is a plus Experience in human-in-the-loop machine learning (active learning, weak supervision) is a plus Extensive experience connecting to various data sources and structures: APIs, NoSQL, RDBMS, Blob Storage, etc. Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, Power BI etc., is a plus Knowledge on PMI & Agile Standards Takes accountability of the team for quality technical deliverables to agreed schedule and estimates Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights. Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs. Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload. Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly and positively to change. Ideally, you’ll also have Industry recognized certifications in emerging technologies like AI / ML etc would be a plus Preferred industry recognized certifications in statistical methods for data science, Python, machine learning or deata visualization. What We Look For As an AI / ML lead we’re looking for someone who can lead a diverse group of project stakeholders and members towards successful delivery of a project. He / She must be able to mentor junior members of the team and reviews their work acting as a best practice / quality resource. He/She should be able to delegate when appropriate but leads by example when required the knowledge and skills to convert product / feature designs to functioning components with quality on time by architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc. He must also apply judgment in implementing Application Engineering methodologies, processes, and practices to specific requirements of projects/programs which may include product design engineering, information security, code maintainability and reliability.
