General Summary
< u>< strong>Job Function
The individual will be responsible for driving and delivering SoC Spec, SoC RTL, Netlist, Power collaterals, Constraints, and SW collaterals for SoCs for Mobile, IoT, Compute, and Modem products. The role will require the candidate to understand and work on all aspects of VLSI development including SoC system aspects, SoC architecture, front end design, SoC Integration, Static checks, low power design, and implementation.
The design team defines architecture, microarchitecture as per specifications for the HLDR
Skills Experience
< u>< strong>15 to 20 years of Experience build, Ips, Subsystems, and SoCs.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Completing tasks that require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; tasks require simultaneously executing multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining information in short- or long-term memory.
Exercising exceptional creativity to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products processes without established objectives or known parameters.
Provide direction, mentoring, and leadership to small to medium-sized groups.
Should possess strong communication and leadership skills to ensure effective communication with Program Management or Engineering Management and group members
Responsibilities
< u>< strong>Creates SoC Spec and owns implementation of Spec working with functional leads.
Owns IO working with Packaging, PD, and Functional Lead.
Owns and delivers best QoR Netlist and constraints to PD
Owns functional setup closure and IO setup and hold timing closure
Owns tracking of external bugs of the IPs
Owns design review of SoC and SoC infrastructure IPs
Certifies SoC test plans, Power and Performance KPIs
Prepares staging plan with Verification, DFT, PD, Validation, and Software teams.
Owns Post Si debug support, customer and SW stability issues
Runs weekly Review of the open issues on SoC that are in the Post Si phase.
Technical review of dashboards, optimization efforts.
Technical guidance for Corrective and Preventive Action planning and Tracking,
Technical review of Lessons Learnt during execution
Acts as a tech lead on large projects provide technical leadership to individuals from outside functions and owns the outcome of the project.
Manages project-related activities (e.g., meetings, documentation, deliverables); collaborates with the team across departments and technologies; provides feedback to other teams regarding the product; brings the project to conclusion.
Conducts analyses covering feasibility studies, power, Die size estimation, Feature and teardown analyses, interface, performance care about, and work closely with DFT, DV, PD, SW, and Systems team.
Education Requirements
Educational Qualification: MSEE strongly desired, BSEE required
