Inviting applications for the role of Python Developer Responsibilities The candidate will work as a Python Developer with team of Quantitative Analyst and Modelers, as well as various other business and technology units. This position is focused on delivering tactical and strategic solutions to support the banks’ Market Risk processes and reporting. The individual will be part of an Agile team working closely with team members in India and New York. The role will require the candidate to perform development and provide system support as required by the project. The individual would have the opportunity to re-architect, re-design and re-engineer platforms to solve data distribution and orchestration problems. Stream processing applications as Kafka, KSQL and understanding of low level kafka inner workings and partitioning schemes Design, Develop with deep understanding of Optimization techniques (e.g.: DB2, SQL Server) Qualifications Minimum qualifications BE/B Tech/ MCA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Overall relevant experience in Core Python and PySpark. hands on experience in Core Python Programing Experience in SparkSQL, Spark Streaming Python. years of total IT experience and needs to have experience in Hadoop, Hive and HBase Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and Object Oriented Design. Experience with Scheduling tools like Airflow Experience in a Unit Testing Framework such as xUnit or jUnit. Preferred qualifications Strong Problem Solving and Coding Skills preferred Re-engineering and understanding of legacy systems with strong architecture experience is a huge plus ‘Effective’ communication skills Any Cloud knowledge or experience in GCP is a plus. Experience with Data Integration systems, Data Engineering Knowledge on Microservices architecture e Understanding of Job scheduling tools like UC4 Creative ways of solving problems efficiently and logically Development experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. Solid grasp of distributed architecture including web services and messaging. Prior working experience in financial services industry; specifically on Risk and Quantitative Modelling.
