We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research (FinRes) group based in Hyderabad, India. The role involves working closely with portfolio managers and analysts in the Firm’s Fundamental Equities (FE) team. WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY-TO-DAY: In this role, you’ll be responsible to provide coverage for specific companies across sectors, which are of interest to the group, and pitch investment ideas. You’ll track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, development, and maintain financial models. You’ll also support detailed modelling of company financials, and prepare investment write-ups and presentations. You’ll be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer group), sensitivity and scenario analysis. Collaborating closely with front office groups to iterate on financial models and investment theses will be key. Further, you’ll be expected to attend management/sell-side/intermediary/sector expert calls.
