Consultant in Applied Intelligence A Consultant in ‘Applied intelligence –understands the importance of sound analytical decision-making, relationship of tasks to the overall project, and executes projects in the context of a business performance improvement initiative. Duties and Responsibilities: Analytics lead on client projects responsible for data science application development and its productionization. Works with junior team members and cross functional team. Takes responsibility for requirements gathering, solution design, development, and developing a production level data science solution Develop implementation guidelines, quality control procedures, and documentation for projects. Ensures adherence of the best practices in the project Guide team members on project work and take responsibility for the analytics deliverables Take initiatives to drive data science initiatives like training to the team, conduct proof-of-concept work to test new data science algorithms or features with support of data science leadership Educational Background/qualifications B Tech/M Tech from reputed engineering colleges Masters/M Tech in Computer Science Master degree in Statistics/Econometrics/ Economics from reputed institute M.Phil/Ph.D in Statistics/Econometrics or related field. Requirements: 0.5-1 year of experience of leading machine learning or forecasting projects to meet the customers’ business requirement 5-6 years of project experience using machine learning techniques (like Decision Trees, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, and Neural Networks) or forecasting techniques (ESM, ARIMA, ARIMAX, UCM) Advance level skills in Python and SQL to work on large scale data (billions of rows) Expertise and ability to train team members in Advanced Python for Data Science, Machine Learning / Forecasting, and SQL Exceptional communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts to business audiences Ability to work effectively in global teams and product owners with different time zones Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations and ability to optimize team’s resources to achieve business goals Strong on values like delighting customers, taking initiative, being trustworthy, and working collaboratively Experience in Retail, CPG, FMCG, consumer goods or manufacturing. Good to have skills/Experience Experience of operationalization of the machine learning or forecasting models in cloud or on-premises platform Experience of using git or other code version control platform Experience in retail, manufacturing, and consumer goods industry Knowledge of GCP or AWS and machine learning offerings on these platforms Experience of using dashboard tools like Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics or Qlik Experience of using TensorFlow and Keras are desired.
