Join a team of globally collaborative colleagues at the ‘Global Clinical Supply (GCS)’ function to support clinical trials from Phase 1 to approval and be a key interface between Technical Research & Development teams and the Clinical teams! The Information Governance Manager will coordinate the setup, maintenance and development of the Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Information management framework, to ensure appropriate behavior in the valuation, creation, storage, use, archiving and deletion of information. He/she will contribute to establishment of the Supply Chain Master Data governance framework and relative IT solutions, integrated with the other functions of the TRD organization. This role is accountable for enforcement and maintenance of the agreed process once established. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Acts as a single point of contact for GCS Information management within Information and System Governance Team. Coordinates activities within GCS organization related to standardization of information, including supply chain master data, implementation and deployment of data management processes and IT solutions to be executed by the S&OE MDM team. Harmonizes the initiative to improve the existing Supply Chain Master Data processes and activities, driving continuous process improvement in close alignment with MDM team. Coordinates activities related to establishing Supply Chain Data Stewardship process for data quality and consistency, and collaborates with MDM and other TRD teams performing the data consistency controls Synchronizes relationship with IT teams responsible for delivery of technical solutions needed by Information Management as well as data consistency management practices, in collaboration with the SSIMs in the System Governance Team Plays a strategic role in the implementation of priority projects related to: Centralizing the exchange of data between TRD functions and systems o Integrating data governance at TRD and GDD level. Streamlining the IT architecture by bringing the required IT enhancements into the iCS Landscape Enabling Advanced statistical analysis and predictive modelling Provides expert guidance to BPMs and PMO on business process and system design to support supply chain data governance and information modelling objectives Maintain documentation and act as an expert on information and data definitions, flows, legacy data structures, access rights models, etc. for assigned domain. Creates and maintains master data in SAP based on request forms generated by the project teams / line functions and extend the materials to other line functions. Co-coordinates and aligns with relevant stakeholders to initiate or update master data. Creates own MARS requests on the basis of Master Data requests from project teams/ line functions and organize the distribution of the data from MARS into SAP. Supports project teams/line functions for the requests and all changes to local and global material numbers in SAP and in MARS. Supports Business Process Manager (BPM) to assess risks related to Material Master Data and having robust process in place Minimum Requirements WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE: Degree in science, engineering or equivalent fluent spoken & written English > 5 years of practical experience in chemical / pharmaceutical industry or > 3 years of experience in field of expertise. . Good expertise in establishing cross functional data governance and data process management (1-2 years) Basic project management, good organization and planning skills Experience in large-scale master data management activities preferred Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. GMP, HSE etc.) and Novartis specific standards. Proven leadership skills excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams Demonstrates problem solving and idea generation skills Very good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
