Senior Manager General Description Consultants are members in the Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) team and will be involved in client engagements for Middle East clients on an offshore or onshore basis. Consultants will engage with the MENA stakeholders and GDS management to deliver client engagements or to prepare proposals in the FCC domain. Consultants should have good communication skills and shall be good at preparing control documents, prepare presentations and shall also be a good presenter. Consultants shall consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the engagement assigned to him/her Consultants shall be responsible to monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge The job could require travel (80% to 100%) to client locations in the Middle East. Job description FCC – Techno-functional specialist in Transaction Monitoring systems Number of positions: 2 Minimum years of Experience: 2 years Job Profile: Analyse and optimize the configuration of Firco systems (any other sanction screening systems), as required for effective and efficient screening Automate and improve Firco system related processes and system controls Assurance of data feeds required for screening of commercial and trade payments from source systems e.g. Bank Net, Mobile Banking, ATM, FTS, Smart Business, etc. Verifying that data mapping, system parameters, lists and thresholds are complete and fit for purpose Optimizing the systems by performing hit rate analysis and data mining, using tools such as FircoSofts tuning suite, MS Excel, MS Access and SAS to identity commonalities and patterns Comprehensive documentation of the configuration and testing of screening systems Regular testing and validation of the screening systems Knowledge, education and qualification: Hands-on experience Tuning, QA and or Product Management of Firco Continuity Trust Deep knowledge of FircoSoft screening systems including Firco Continuity, Firco Trust etc. Strong understanding of screening technologies, software, algorithms, business rules, exceptions and tuning capabilities Sanctions and AML payments SME with in-depth knowledge of SWIFT B.Tech from reputed institutions Knowledge in SAS and Oracle systems EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
