EY- Assurance – Manager- FAAS (CCaSS)

< strong>As part of our EY-Assurance Team, the Manager will be responsible for working closely with FAAS leadership, Partners, Senior Managers, Assistant Managers, Seniors and Staff on client engagements across all EY regions

The opportunity

< strong>We’re looking for incumbents who should have extensive experience in Climate Change and Sustainability Services.

Your Key Responsibilities

< strong>Lead global or domestic client service teams to execute the following CCaSS solutions:
< u>
  • ESG Sustainability Advisory< li>
  • Non-financial Reporting and Assurance < li>
  • Climate Change< li>
  • Environment Health & Safety < li>
  • Digital platforms on Sustainability EHS< li>
  • Impact assessment

    < li> < ul> Manage and develop people
    < u>
    • Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Seniors and make sure the team delivers high–quality work, as per EY Global methodology, on time and to budget < li>
    • Conduct FAAS team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance < li>
    • Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing Assistant Managers Seniors or Staff.

      < li> < ul> Manage business and clients
      < u>
      • Actively support the leadership team both in terms of growth as well as quality initiatives< li>
      • Enhance relationships with global teams and leverage connections to identify opportunities for work < li>
      • at the GDS

        < li> < ul> Skills And Attributes For Success
        < strong>
        • Understanding of and experience with GRI, SASB, TCFD, DJSI, CDP, WEF IBC etc.< li>
        • Sound understanding of sustainability issues across various industry sectors.< li>
        • Sound technical competence on areas like ESG, Climate Change and non-financial reporting < li>
        • Knowledge on digital tools on Sustainability EHS if preferable.< li>
        • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills< li>
        • Ability to manage team – capacity building, review< li>
        • Strong client management skills

          < li> < ul> Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External

          < strong>To qualify for the role, you must have
          < strong>
          • Post graduate degree in sustainability environment or engineering (chemical mechanical civil etc.) (with a focus on environment, sustainability and EHS issues, systems and strategy). < li>
          • 7–10 years of experience in CCaSS related services

            < li> < ul> Ideally, you’ll also have
            < strong>
            • Proficiency in MS – Excel, MS – Office.< li>
            • Interest in business and commerciality.
