QCTs is is actively seeking candidates for physical design methodology position at its Noida, India location. You will be part of an existing team that drive and execute on all phases of the complete physical design flow and develop methodology across multiple products, using latest CMOS technologies.

Responsibilities

• You will be part of a world-wide team responsible for the complete Physical Design Flow in Qualcomm MSM/MDM chips.
• Work on the physical design execution and integration of the IP into the SoC.
• Develop improved analytics and convergence recipes for design tools, flows, methods for floorplan, and place-and-route.
• Manage schedules, plans, status, risks and support cross-functional engineering effort
• Work with the RTL design teams on understanding design in context of physical design timing closure including developing of timing constraints required for implementation.
• Work with the DFT team on understand DFT design in regards to physical design timing closure.
• Enabling low power implementation methods
• Developing new scripts/flows to improve the PD flow.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of floorplan, place-and-route tool development expertise, experience in data analytics and data visualization platforms such as tableau, python etc.

Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems

Work Experiences

4+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
