General Summary Verification & Validation team is currently looking for self-motivated engineers who will perform ARM or DSP based SOC Pre-Si Emulation. The ideal candidate should leverage his knowledge and experience to provide leadership, technical guidance, and execution of silicon validation of ARM or DSP based multiple SOC projects and platforms Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of design/fpga prototyping experience Familiarity with Verilog/Vhdl and General Digital Logic Design concepts Knowledge of system-level architecture including buses like ARM processor bringup, AXI/AHB, bridges, memory controllers such as DDR/Nand, and peripherals such as USB, PCIE Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment and scripting languages such as Perl or shell Excellent problem solving and debug skills on fpga platform Working knowledge with FPGA synthesis tools like synplicity or equivalent Working knowledge XILINX Virtex FPGA architecture and experience with ISE tool flow Validation of FPGA builds in Pre-Si environment Post-Si validation experience is a plus. Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Work Experiences 5+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience. Skills Certifications: Education Preferred Qualifications Masters - Computer Science, Masters - Engineering, Masters - Information Systems Work Experiences 8+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience. ,2+ years experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF). ,2+ years experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software. ,2+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc. ,1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
