Join us as an Employment Law & HR Consultant

  • If you're a HR professional with significant experience in employee relations or employment law, we’d like to hear from you< li>
  • You'll provide and consultatively promote a range of services to a portfolio of valued clients, meeting their employment and HR needs< li>
  • Hone your knowledge and expertise, as you’ll be coaching your colleagues and completing quality checks and observational visits to provide feedback

    < li> < ul> What you'll do

    < strong>You’ll be great at building relationships with your high value portfolio of clients and gaining an in-depth understanding of their needs and priorities. This will allow you to provide them with the right advice, consultancy and training services, within your chosen specialist area of employment law and HR. We’ll look to you to have an effective contact and strategy plan and make sure you accurately record all work and contact undertaken.

    You’ll also be:

    • Leading new business prospect meetings, business networking and relationship building with the internal and external network and new customer lead referrals< li>
    • Managing client retention and renewal pricing conversations< li>
    • Supporting colleagues in the conclusion of appropriate new business opportunities< li>
    • Adopting a commercial approach to all customer interactions and delivering core services within service profit parameters< li>
    • Developing and delivering technical updates for colleagues

      < li> < ul> The skills you'll need

      < strong>We’re looking for someone with an NVQ4, diploma or degree level professional qualification in employment law or HR, alongside extensive professional experience in this field. You’ll need to work with high levels of attention to detail, and a good degree of time management and flexibility in order to best meet your clients’ needs and provide advice in complex matters.

      We’ll also be looking for someone with the ability to coach and give feedback to others, alongside skilled probing and professional judgement, in order to be a leading figure in this role.

      You’ll also need:

      • 8-10 years of employment law advisory experience< li>
      • Litigation experience in service or employment matters< li>
      • To be a qualified LLB, and ideally with a specialisation in employment laws< li>
      • The ability to identify and lead business solutions and offer bespoke services to customers, and deliver commercial price quotes< li>
      • Experience of working in a commercial situation, with relationship management at a director level< li>
      • A diverse sector, industry and generalist background< li>
      • The ability and knowledge to liaise with regulatory bodies or legal counsel
