This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in. General Summary As part of customer engineering team, need to support Qualcomm Android Phone/Tablet/IOT platform customer projects. Candidate should deal with DSP Audio/Voice system’s Algorithm tuning, debugging, and specific carrier requirement tuning, need to co-work with cross functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up the solutions to customer problems Strong knowledge in Speech coding principles, Speech Coding Standards, 3GPP /3GGP2/ ETSI/ ITU-T Speech Standards, POLQA and 3QUEST. Knowledge in Android Audio framework and Linux OS. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Hands- on experience with on- target debugging in embedded environment Familiarity with Vodafone/ AT&T/ TMOUS carrier spec, tuning and analysis is a plus. Preferred Qualifications 2 to 4 years of Experience with voice and audio Algorithms Responsibilities The candidate will support DSP Audio/Voice system’s Algorithm tuning, issues debugging and specific carrier requirement tuning. It also requires the ability to understand and explain technical information in a concise manner with strong communication skills between customers and developers. Support Qualcomm customers for design- win projects, help customers to understand Qualcomm voice/ audio tuning, deliver the best quality of voice/ audio within the project schedule. Strong knowledge in Digital Signal Processing concepts. Working experience on any DSP (porting and optimization of different algorithms along with real time debugging). Hands on experience in tuning pre and post processing Algorithms( Design IIR/FIR filters, DRC, MBDRC, ECNS). Knowledge in C, Python and MATLAB. Hands-on Experience in using HEAD Acoustic ACQUA System, HATs , Network Simulator-Callbox(CMU200/CMW500) Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information Systems Certifications Work Experiences: Skills Preferred Qualifications Education Work Experiences: 1+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. ,1+ years experience with debugging techniques.
