    < u>< strong>As the primary contact with the investment community, responsibilities include supporting the senior management team in executing the Investor Relations strategy for the company. Serves as the primary person responsible for driving, monitoring and reporting the company’s sustainability and corporate responsibility efforts. Additionally assists in capital structure activity including capital raises and refinancing activity as well as performs financial analysis of various projects including merger and acquisition, debt compliance, financial planning, analysis business reviews and various analytical projects as needed. Reports to the SVP & Treasurer and partners closely with executive leadership. This position is based out of Owens & Minor Corporate Head Quarters in the Mechanicsville, VA and if not already residing in the greater Richmond Region, will require relocation. The role is eligible for relocation assistance.

    Core Responsibilities
    < u>< strong>
    • Serve as the face of the Company to stockholders, debtholders, analysts and rating agencies< li>
    • Works closely with SVP & Treasurer and executive leadership to develop and execute a long-term investor relations strategy for the company with responsibility for its execution.< li>
    • Develop a detailed understanding of analyst financial models to align the valuation focus with the Company’s investment message and works closely with the senior management team and other members of management to deliver a clear and consistent message to investors.< li>
    • Manage all aspects of quarterly earnings release including executive scripts, Q&A preparation and call logistics.< li>
    • Developing targeting plan directed toward specific institutional investors, retail investors and analysts for potential investment and coverage of Company common stock. Reviews published research reports to ensure company information is accurately reported.< li>
    • Direct the planning and development of all of investor presentations for healthcare industry conferences, investor roadshows and the Company’s Investor Day< li>
    • Analyze current industry data, peer strategies and performance, and communicates results with management when appropriate. Manages the identification, analysis and tracking of institutional shareholders and trading trends.< li>
    • Develop a detailed understanding of equity and credit analyst’s financial models to align the valuation focus with the Company’s message< li>
    • Direct the preparation of the annual corporate sustainability report by managing processes, gathering input from executive leadership, The Board of Directors and subject matter experts.< li>
    • Manage and monitor sustainability efforts against metrics and objectives and validate the appropriateness of program objectives.< li>
    • Develop and own communication strategy for sustainability efforts and partner with internal communications team on dissemination of efforts.< li>
    • Partner cross functionally within the organization in order to knowledgably communicates Company performance, prospects and responsibility efforts accurately with both current and potential investors and key markets to maximize long-term shareholder value and sustainability.< li>
    • Responsible for preparing Investor Relations business plan and tracking related operating plan expenses< li>
    • Prepare material for executive leadership and the Board of Directors on investor relations and sustainability activity, including changes in ownership, earnings estimates, price targets, etc.
      < li> < ul> Qualifying Experience
      < u>< strong>
      • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or other related field< li>
      • Master’s degree, CPA, CFA or other professional certification helpful< li>
      • Minimum ten (10) years of work experience in finance and or investor relations required
