Requisition ID-384001 Director – Performance Improvement – Finance – Financial Transformation Solutions The opportunity Recognizing the changing and fast-paced professional landscape, you will work with our clients to better align their operating infrastructures within their business strategies. You will team with engagement leadership to bring our broad range of capabilities and insights to enhance the role and effectiveness of the finance and operations function. This role will include partnering with colleagues in Technology, Strategy and Risk to bring the latest solutions to not only improve operational efficiencies, but to enhance the changing role as an indispensable partner tasked with providing better business insights, profitability and performance measurement. Your Key Responsibilities You will be a rainmaker targeting key industry segments for Finance Transformation Solutions Develop and service key accounts; gain mind-share, market-share and establish E&Y as a premier-player in this segment Establish Finance Transformation as a distinctive practice with revenue responsibilities Be a thought leader and build the practice in terms of talent, solutions and track-record As a competency leader with solutions relevant across all industry segments, you will work internally with Partners leading Industry verticals to build rapport and develop on client relationships housed therein You will lead Project management efforts for large multi-year engagements from origination through to delivery Leverage on client relationships and cross-sell into Tax and Assurance areas. Skills And Attributes For Success Well versed with the CFO domain, deliverables and tools for decision making. Implementation experience will be an advantage Strong practice building abilities, commercial acumen, appreciation of technology and ability to win client confidence are essential for the role The accent is on strategy, operations and execution vis-à-vis just advisory and design Strong relationships, networking, visibility and deep-rooted knowledge in the domain To qualify for the role you must have Pedigree academics (CA preferred) Minimum 13-15 years of overall professional experience; recent tenure being in consulting, with a mix of CFO experience and consulting background Experience as a leader in operations and process consulting pieces; with a significant portion of his engagements having served the CFO organization of clients directly Experience in leading consulting engagements in either of the focus solutions of Finance Transformation: BPM, Shared Services, Transformation, Cost Reduction Ideally you’ll also have Natural flair in leadership and Business development What We Look For People with the ability to work in a collaborative way to provide services across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
