Job Title: Implementation Specialist Sector: Financial Services Grade: Senior Competency: Technology Position Summary EY is looking for passionate, result oriented and quality focused professional with strong implementation, delivery and technical skills to deliver large scale technology transformation programs for Financial Services clients across MENA region as part of their Technology Consulting practice. Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver large technology implementation programs for clients by executing engagements as per Program Plans, gathering business requirements, contributing to solution design phase, configuring the platform aligned with business requirements, performing testing, data migration and roll-out of the solution. Build and drive strong client relationship with client’s sponsor leadership members and other client stakeholders to manage digital transformation agenda and delivery of their programs and projects. The candidate will be accountable for the management and delivery of their programs and projects, manage expectation and ensure client satisfaction, moreover the candidate should be able to ensure that the programs and projects are delivered as per the SOWs/Contract, to accrue the benefits spelt out, on time, within budget and maintaining highest levels of quality. Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder expectations including support in driving Steering Committees/ Exco meetings on overall project status, key issues and risks. Communicate risks early and investigate and address complex issues in implementation and delivery, perform the root cause analysis, establish a solution and push it through with the clients and other stakeholders effectively. Contribute and be involved in Go-To-Market activities including sales, pre-sales, business development for the firm and actively engage in responding to RFPs, Oral presentations to clients and negotiations Plan and run workshops for Client’s Business and Technology Executives and involving client partners and vendors, on Solutions implementation exclusively or as part of Digital Transformation, addressing Business, Digital and IT Strategy and objectives of the client. Independently prepare and present solution implementation approach, plan and roadmap for client business problems and contribute to their Digital Transformation roadmaps in alignment with overall business strategy and architecture. Develop views on implementing solutions in accordance with one of the more common traditional and Agile frameworks (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe, KANBAN, XP, DSDM), DevOps, architecture frameworks (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF), architectural styles (Microservices, SOA). Be updated with latest innovations in the technology solutions and able to advice on best practices to be followed to enable innovative solutions for the client. Actively develop and contribute to Financial Services Centre of Excellence Perform broad-spectrum and in-depth research on delivery models and frameworks, technologies, market and industry trends, evaluate software, platforms, solutions and services and present innovative perspectives and recommendations to clients and EY practice firms. Interface and communicate with the various onsite and/or offshore stakeholders and coordinators on a regular basis to ensure smooth execution of responsibilities. Mentor and manage peers and team members to help them realise their fullest potential and actively encourage and practice diversity and inclusiveness. Open to travelling extensively to MENA region and work directly with EY clients on projects. Required Work Experience Strong domain experience in Financial Services (FS) including hands-on experience of implementing two or more of the following systems – Traditional (Core) and Digital Banking, Card and Payments, Wealth and Asset Management, Digital Channels, Trade and Treasury, Insurance and Capital Markets. Overall 8-10 years’ experience in solution delivery and implementation of FS Digital and Core Banking Systems such as Temenos, Finacle, Oracle Banking systems, Fiserv. 2-3 years’ experience in Digital Technology solutioning and implementation from FS sector perspective including Cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud), Big Data, Omni Channel Technologies, Intelligent Automation and RPA, Blockchain, AI/ML, Good understanding and exposure to large enterprise platforms and systems, including major core banking systems, BPMs, Digital channel platforms, Cards systems, CRMs. Possess deep understanding and exposure to Agile delivery, DevOps and industry standard delivery and quality frameworks. Extensive consulting experience in Big-4s, IT Platform companies, Banks or Insurance companies, or other IT Consulting companies. FS/Banking product, PMP, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, and cloud certification preferred COBIT and ITIL certification is desirable Membership and active involvement in technology and industry bodies and online communities is highly desirable Excellent team player who can reach out and collaborate very effectively with geographically distributed technology, business function and support teams to deliver to the client. Open to travelling extensively to MENA region and work directly with EY clients on projects. Experience in creating and conducting impactful client presentations and articulate the technical and non-technical deliverables to clients at various levels starting from junior staff to Senior Management Experience in running physical and virtual workshops independently and well versed with tools and technologies to enable the same. Demonstrable professional technical writing expertise, visual representation and language skills. Experienced in productivity and diagramming tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, Visio Experience in working with clients in MENA GCC countries desirable. Education Requirements BTech/MCA and MBA in a reputed institution preferably in computer science/ technology specialization. Preferred Skills Possess deep understanding and experience in Agile delivery, DevOps and industry standard delivery and quality frameworks, including CMMi L5, SCRUM, ITIL. Strong domain experience in Financial Services (FS) including hands-on experience of implementing two or more of the following systems – Traditional (Core) and Digital Banking, Card and Payments, Wealth and Asset Management, Digital Channels, Trade and Treasury, Insurance and Capital Markets. PgMP, PMP, CSM/Agile certification preferred COBIT, ITIL certification is highly desirable KNOWLEDGE OF SOLUTIONS (IF APPLICABLE) Knowledge of leading Banking solutions from Oracle, Temenos, Infosys, Pega, TCS BaNCS, Microsoft etc. will be highly preferred.
