Role Description Willing to work in 24/5 shifts including night shift. Supports the day to day activities of the support engineering team to ensure the smooth, on-going operation of a solution and its successful deployment to the user community Assists in the running, maintenance and support of technology projects post-transition, using developing technical capabilities Collaborates with other groups to gain an understanding of key business processes, products and services to assist with support engineering activities Responsibilities Supports the on-going maintenance of existing development and production environments, using developing technical skills Analyzes, documents and contributes to the implementation of changes based on requests for change to an existing solution Contributes to the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages in projects with limited complexity under supervision Monitors the effectiveness of installations and prepares progress reports for the review of more senior members of the team Assists in the definition of internal control standards and procedures Collaborates with other engineering groups to gain an understanding of products and services in order to provide technical support activities Technical Skills & Knowledge Demonstrates understanding of technology including networks, storage systems, servers, operating systems, applications, database and web platforms Demonstrates programming knowledge and experience Has developing knowledge of business processes, products and services, within agreed areas of expertise and is able to provide input to key stakeholders, such as Product Owners, business sponsors and Service Delivery Managers on straightforward queries Experience Experience in Working in Shift Experience in Application Support and Mindset Demonstrates working knowledge of the support engineering environment Experience in customer facing roles Experience with modern technology understanding including cloud service, virtual networks/systems Some experience working with environment configuration management, technical and process support for new infrastructure and environments Experience working with environment configuration management, technical and process support for new infrastructure and environments The candidate should have minimal of 4-6 years of L2 support Should have experience in supporting the production environments Education Computer Science IT Mathematics Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External Certifications Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-104, AZ-300 Similar Titles in the Market Support Analyst Leadership Capabilities LEAD: Gold Standard Definitions Available Technical Learning Support Engineering Skills And Capabilities Should be flexible to work in 24 x 7 shifts Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills; Be able to communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stake holders Strong knowledge in Azure Cloud Experience in Continuous Integration, Deployment & Release management Understanding of Cloud concepts IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Hands-on experience in Deploying, automating, maintaining and monitoring Azure cloud-based production systems Strong scripting and automation skills.
