Job Description

< u>< strong>In this role as DevOps Engineer, you’ll work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.

Job Responsibilities
< u>< strong>
  • Drive adoption of continuous integration inspection deployment. < li>
  • Enhance DevOps process by staying up to date. < li>
  • Proactively do POC on DevOps Tools and implement. < li>
  • Collaborate with teams and guide to implement changes from DevOps perspective. < li>
  • Utilize various open source technologies < li>
  • Use various tools to orchestrate solutions < li>
  • Build independent web based tools, microservices and solutions < li>
  • Write scripts and automation using Perl Python Groovy Java Bash < li>
  • Understand how various systems work < li>
  • Understand how IT operations are managed
    < li> < ul> Basic Qualifications
    < u>< strong>
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other Engineering field. < li>
    • 6+ years with DevOps expertise
      < li> < ul> Technical Experience
      < u>< strong>
      • Knowledge of CI CD solution on any platform with prior experience is must. < li>
      • Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering software. < li>
      • Working knowledge of Infrastructure components. (E.g. routers, load balancers, cloud products, container systems, compute, storage and networks). < li>
      • 6+ experience on Key AWS services : EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, DynamoDB (NoSQL), Lambda, logging CloudWatch, IAM, Certificate Manager, ELB, EBS, ECS, CloudFront WAF, SQS, SNS, SES. < li>
      • Expertise in ELK Monitoring Tool that ensure Open Source IT monitoring, network monitoring, server and applications monitoring is an added advantage. < li>
      • 6+ years prior experience in DevOps and or application development teams. Hands on experience using large scale software development, preferably in one of these languages: Java, Python, scripting languages is a must. < li>
      • Understanding of Restful API, Apigee or any other API Gateway will be plus. < li>
      • 5+ years experience on Docker and at least one Docker Container orchestration – ECS, Kubernetes. < li>
      • Expertise with configuration Management tools like Ansible Puppet Chef PowerShell Terraform. < li>
      • Expertise of Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Sonar, Splunk, Maven, AIM and or Continuous Delivery tools. < li>
      • Understanding of DevSecOps, AiOps terminologies
