Data privacy consultant will be responsible for undertaking the consulting projects of data privacy for the clients, and internally responsible for presales and growing the data privacy practice as a whole. A day in the life of an Infoscion As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight. You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization s financial guidelines Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. As a Data Security Consultant, your key responsibilities would be: To consult clients over compliance with the Data Protection legislation, regulation and associated guidance. Executing exercises for privacy gap assessments and privacy impact assessments. To engage with clients and(or) application development teams for implementation of data privacy by design and data protection controls. To support the clients with ongoing design, implementation and maintenance of the data privacy framework for managing data protection risk including responding to legislation, devising and owning policies and training. Demonstrate ability to clearly and concisely communicate the privacy implications of technology and implementation. Make actionable recommendations using knowledge of data protection law, statistics, business understanding and common sense. To support the data privacy practice in growing the lead engagements and in developing and enhancing the data privacy service offerings. To respond to data privacy RFPs with the techno-commercial solutions. At least 5 years of experience of data protection compliance frameworks. Experience of maintaining good relationships with internal stakeholders and clients. Experience of working on a number of data protection projects from diverse industries for ensuring compliance with data protection laws, in particular GDPR, and its practical application. Working knowledge of using privacy management software to handle data protection matters and experience in working with IT Security teams preferable Certifications like CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, DCPLA, BS10012, ISO27001 will give an extra leverage. Data Protection qualification desirable but not essential.
