Job description
Roles & Responsibilities Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models Analyze various data warehouse objects. Collection of data elements metadata including definition, lineage and typing to business terms Identification of data issues within in the data domain Required Skills Mandatory 5+ years experience Excellent communication Skills Ability to interpret data and provide analysis using business terms Knowledge of data ecosystem Expertise in SQL and/or other native query tool knowledge, experience writing medium to high-complexity queries, experience writing and evaluating ETL Expertise and experience with creating and using Metadata, Reference Data, Data Quality & Business Glossary aspects of data management Knowledge of Data Warehouse development and/or ETL tools Atleast basic Knowledge of Shell scripting Atleast basic Knowledge of Python Desired Experience with work-flow tools (e.g. IBM Blueworks, MS Visio) Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview)
