If so, Apple's Global Business Intelligence (GBI) team is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to build high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power apple's analytics platform and data pipelines. Apple's Enterprise Data warehouse landscape caters to a wide variety of real-time, near real-time and batch analytical solutions. These solutions are integral part of business functions like Sales, Operations, Finance, AppleCare, Marketing and Internet Services, enabling business drivers to make critical decisions. We use a diverse technology stacks for Infrastructure Provisioning, Continuous Integration, Quality Test and Access Management. Developing and maintaining these DevOps tools are core part of our daily job. The ideal candidate for this us should be able to think outside of the box and have passion for building automated solutions to enable our partners to create analytics products.


Key Qualifications
< strong>
Experience in building DevOps and Cloud automation tools using Java, Python, Golang and Pulumi Terraform

In-depth understanding of hypervisors, virtual machines, containers and kubernetes platforms

Hands-on network configuration involving load balancers, firewalls, ACLs and TCP IP core components (http, DNS, routing, etc)

Solid understanding in CI CD pipelines and configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet

Proficient with AWS cloud services - EC2, S3, EBS, EKS, IAM, Lambda etc.

Experience in utilization reviews and performance monitoring tuning

Exposure on business continuity solutions, with a strong focus on security is a plus

Demonstrate strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Should be highly motivated and ability to learn quick


Description

- Design and Develop CI CD frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and delivery pipelines - Architect and implement cloud migration solutions including auditing and compliance capabilities - Engage in adoption of hybrid cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) by working with application teams to understand their requirements and recommending standard methodologies for network flows, security and high availability - Drive DevSecOps transformation through integration with tools like SonarQube and building dashboards - Develop automation for infrastructure patching, upgrades and DR with the focus on platform reliability and resiliency. Maintain SLAs through monitoring and tracking SLIs - Evaluate and propose new services to optimize DevOps process and improve the security posture - Build, lead and support IaaS platforms including configurations for RBAC, Security Groups, IAM Roles etc. - Work with many global teams and communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams


Additional Requirements

AWS Solution Architect, SysOps or DevOps certification would be an added advantage
