Qualification — Preferred BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc Job Description As Senior Test Consultant you will be accountable & responsible to analyze numerous functional areas relevant to business need, ensuring all requirements are understood and help customers solve their problems. The role also demands hands on testing of Applications against Requirements in ensuring the Quality and Project Testing needs are met Skill Requirements Strong understanding of the SAP Business Processes Finance – GL (General Ledger), FPSL, CO (Costing) Supply Chain – Order to cash Materials management Sub ledger BPC & Group reporting Experience with working in a SAP QA project(s) Understanding of the different QA methodologies and Test levels Experience with standardized QA Processes Experience with QA specific tools - Test Management, Test Execution progress, Defect tracking and triage Strong experience with WorkSoft & Java OR UFT based automation for SAP and any other systems Well Versed with SAP FICO configuration and prepare test cases and scripts Play an active hands-on role in all aspects of quality assurance, from functional requirements walk-through, reviewing technical designs, creating test plans and testing project Should have knowledge of Agile and Scrum. Experience in JIRA would be an added advantage Be responsible for following through and making sure defects are reported and escalated appropriately Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (Agile, waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools. People Responsibilities Good people management skills – Guide, Lead and motivate the team Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Should come up with innovative and smart ways of doing work, without compromising on quality Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures Other Details Responsibilities, Qualifications, Certifications - External Education BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc Professional Experience 6-12 years of test consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domains. Excellent knowledge and extensive experience of QA Methodology Should have played the role of an individual contributor, interfacing with the clients and address their business needs Should have created Test Strategy and Test Plan for ERP solutions that are moderate to complex / high risk Systems. Familiar with Test Estimation techniques Hands on experience with Test Management and Defect Management tools including HP QC Responsive & adaptable to customer and project needs. Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly Should be an individual contributor & Team Leader Exposure to Global Projects and working with Clients at onsite is desirable Exposure to Quality Processes, Templates and Metrics for Testing is required Exposure to CMMi and Process improvement Frameworks is a plus Should be ready to travel based on the Project & Client needs EY | Building a better working world EY exists to build a better working world, helping to create long-term value for clients, people and society and build trust in the capital markets.
