Manager (Associate Vice President) – Strategy & Transactions - Lead Advisory A Lead Advisory team is a business unit within the Strategy & Transactions practice. This LA partners with its clients to identify the best opportunities and assists them in choosing and consummating the right transactions for their business success. With a dedicated team of professionals in our Lead Advisory business, we offer comprehensive and integrated solutions to our clients and assist them in aligning their transaction and business strategy to drive shareholder value and stay ahead of the competition. This team provides specialist lead advisory services on the following: Mergers & acquisitions Divestitures Privatizations Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances Capital raising Capital Markets Corporate Restructuring. Your Key Responsibilities Project Execution Independently lead the development of the information memorandum, Financial model and due diligence Support the partner in deal negotiations and on the finalization of the commercial aspects of the definitive agreements Skills And Attributes For Success Have experience in closing deals (M&A and PE capital raise) is critical Extensive experience of developing pitches independently Comprehensive understanding of financial modelling and valuation Knowledge of deal structuring- commercials (both strategic and PE/VC deals) To qualify for the role you must have CA or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background Preferred - Investment Banks, M&A teams of large Banks, NBFCs or Insurance companies and have successfully closed deals, Private Equity / Venture Capital firms Ideally you’ll also have Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm. Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills. Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative. Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client) Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
