Are you the one we are looking for? Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Security Architect! In this role, you will be responsible for helping ensure security at the application layer for Genpact’s application and platforms, including mobile apps and cloud based applications / platforms You will have to conduct application security assessments and penetration tests of applications using various tools and techniques You will work closely with application development teams to ensure appropriate education and process within the development cycle You will engage with cloud providers to obtain and understanding of security controls, ensure controls are leveraged You will interact with partners if external assessments are required for any applications Responsibilities Build relationships with application, infrastructure and cloud technology teams to deeply understand new technology initiatives Ensure new technology projects are built securely by providing security subject matter expertise to technology engineering teams Specifically ensuring the secure architecture, design, development, coding and configuration of new technology projects Perform granular infrastructure, infrastructure as code, application and cloud security reviews Identify technology project risks through risk assessments identifying threats, vulnerabilities, impact and likelihood Communicate to senior management the residual risk from mitigation strategies or risk acceptance Maintaining a high security bar through architecture and implementation of security controls at both enterprise and project levels Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Degree Required: B.S or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience in security architecture and testing experience Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability Ability to engineer secure systems across a diverse range of infrastructure, application and cloud technologies. Identifying threat and attack vectors, communicating the need for security features and controls while balancing both business and security value Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies Hands on cloud security experience including architecting, engineering or administrating in AWS, Azure or Google (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) Ability to perform risk assessment and threat modelling exercises with technology engineering teams Experience operating with modern software engineering methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, DevOps and DevSecOps Ability to analytically digest any issue/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution Ability to convincingly articulate vision and strategy for complex and innovative technical undertakings Ability to deal with ambiguity and make expert judgments in situations where no precedent exists Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen and a commercial outlook Preferred Qualifications Security Qualifications Preferred: CISSP, CCSK/CCSP, CISSP-ISSEP/ISSAP, CSSLP, SABSA SCF/SCP/SCM Technical knowledge of application security scanning tools required e.g. Fortify, Veracode, Rational AppScan etc Knowledge of application development process (including mobile) and security frameworks like OWASP Understanding of technical information security concepts Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
